Yesterday we spent our evening with LaLa (my mom). She made yummy squash and we gobbled it up. She played hide and seek with my kids. We ran around in the backyard and my mom and I pushed the kids on the swings. They had too many popsicles but that's okay because that's what grandma's do, spoil. We chatted about little John and how much we love his little smart butt. And we laughed when talking about Mela because she has inherited the feisty attitude that comes when you're a woman in our family.
I went home really happy. So did my babes.
Good times.
