They used to look like this...

And now Mela is so big and looks like this.
And papa is a big boy and still makes faces like these...
because some things never change.

I can't help wanting to jump into that
picture up there to eat Mela's cheeks.
And to cut papa's hair while he cries on my lap.
Screaming till red in the face and inhaling his hair
while we buzz it all off. Oh, the memories of that.

Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
Wasn't so funny when it was happening though.
