He wanted a picnic outside...

So, let's first address the obvious.

Mela looks a little bit...disheveled. Marker on the knees, questionable hair, and than there's the clothes. That skirt is from last summer and that turtleneck is her brother's from a couple years ago. She dressed herself. And that's why I love it.

Now, little John decided he wanted to have a picnic a few days ago. Not in our backyard this time, but out front. So have a picnic we did.

Except, we really didn't get to eat because we got up to play and by the time we came back to eat our sandwiches, our dog Taos had helped himself.

Good thing we love that little sucker more than we like to eat our sandwiches.
Well, we just love him a lot, period.
