I can hear her laughing...

I sit at my mother's kitchen table, next to the back sliding door. I can feel the cool breeze that's gently coming in the house. I can hear my daughter and my hubby laughing outside, it is the best sound I've heard in a long time. She's on the swing and daddy pushes her as high as is possibly safe because she loves it. John got here yesterday morning and he leaves Monday morning. Usually, this is when I would say that the days are flying by but that's not true this time. I am feeling and enjoying every second I have with my entire family. We finally are complete.

Yesterday, John and I took little John to see Where the Wild Things Are. It was incredible. Not good. Not okay. Not great. INCREDIBLE. It stays true to the book but it's so much more. Sitting there, in the movie theater, with my first baby and hubby, I was overcome with happiness. This is how my little family started. Just the three of us. Of course, as soon as I thought that, I missed my little girl.

Off I go now, I plan to enjoy every second this weekend. Hope you do too.
