I went to see my dentist today

And I did not like it.

Maybe this is where some would yell a big DUH! to me, but you would be surprised how many people I know like to go to the dentist. I am not one of those folks, though. I hate it. I kept thinking, "I rather have another kid than sit through this!" And I only got fillings. Yes, more than one, oh well. Now I sit here, half my mouth is numb, and I can't eat. Not a good combo. I will survive, and now that I think of it, it wasn't as bad as having a baby. I'm just a tad bit dramatic.

  1. I have had some pretty serious dental work done, I am always SO grateful when its not just fillings and costs me less than $1000. :)

  2. I now dislike the dentist. He said I didn't need any shots because my cavity was not deep-well it may have not been deep but it was still PAINFUL. Terrible experience seeing how it was my first filling ever. I feel your pain!

  3. I hate going to the dentist, too. Glad you blogged about it because it gives others (like me) a chance to vent.

When I go to the dentist, I'm a wimp. I'm the one who afterwards, the office staff pat me on the shoulder and say, "Can you drive home OK honey?" and that's just after one filling.

PS: I think dental work is much worse than having a baby, but then again, I'm a home birther. ;)
