Surprises

This weekend was different. I talked to people that I normally don't talk to, and I didn't talk to some that I usually do. This week I found myself gaining a friend that I had lost, and being utterly confused with one. Part of growing up, I think, is taking what happens to you and learning from it instead of dwelling on it or wishing you could change the outcome of certain events. I am embracing the changes in my life right now. I'm realizing some were inevitable and that some were surprises. I welcome both feelings equally.

With that, I welcome this week with happiness and excitement. I have a session with somebody that has been so, so kind to me and my business. I have to start packing and getting rid of junk for my move back home (more on that very soon). I feel lighthearted and happy, almost relieved.
