It was magical

(My sister-in-law's oldest son)

I did the craziest thing last night/this morning...I witnessed my nephew come into this world. Holy crap, it was the most incredible thing ever. My sister-in-law wanted me in the room so I could photograph the event. I take no offense that I was just used for my camera, no joke. Thank the heavens, actually, that I was good for SOMETHING while she was a complete rockstar in getting that baby out. Enough about her as this is her story to tell. But I could not let it go unsaid here, on the old blog, that I was able to be a part of such a magical thing.
Shall you start thinking that I'm a liar about it being magical and instead immediately think of yelling, crazy ladies in labor (LIKE ME), think again with my sister-in-law. Oh, no, no, no. She was calm, cool, and collected. Totally put me and my yelling-like-a-psycho-in-labor self to shame. TO SHAME, I tell you.

So, now I get to photograph a brand new baby. YUM.

  1. Labor & birth pictures are the best. My doula for my 4 births was also our photographer. We lucked out.
