Today I watched Where the Heart is. I haven't seen it since having kids. It almost was too much. I don't remember it being so intense the last time I watched it. That's probably because I didn't have kids. It's a simple movie and kind of silly but I forgot how much I like it. There's a lot of awful things that happen to people in the movie.
Imagining any of those things ever happening to me or my kids makes me ill. Especially what happens to Ashley Judd's character and her children.
How can such horrible things be happening in our world were so much love also exists? I guess that's why they had Sister in the movie. She represents the good. Because there is a lot of good.
